Puretone were recently pleased to supply their ultra-lightwight NanoComm GA custom-made headsets for use in the replica Vickers Vimy for its 90th anniversary celebrational flight to Ireland.

Captain Dodd told us “I have tried everything in this aircraft, but it is such a noisy aircraft that nothing so far has been good enough. The NanoComm GA headsets gave excellent noise reduction over the entire flight".

Co-pilot Clive Edwards was equally impressed: “...(NanoComm GA)  headsets were a great success.  We were both very impressed with the headsets and felt the ability to communicate easily really helped the operation. Considering the close proximity of the prop tips, that is impressive. (It’s) certainly a good system.”
